I got to blacksmithing skill 70 in one sitting
Mood:  caffeinated

I used my lvl 50 miner to mine Loch Modan, starting at Thesalmar, around the lake to Farstrider Lodge and up to Ogre mound. I then logged, and later came back the way I came. The end result was almost 90 copper bars, and lots of rough stones that went to my blacksmith in training.

The trick is to milk the rough stones as much as you can. Use them until all the stone goods go green, then use the copper bars to make Copper Chain Belts, at 6 bars a pop.

 Et voila, skill at 68 in one go
